Description

Mintec capsules contain peppermint oil, which is a natural, herbal antispasmodic, that may be an effective natural agent for the treatment of the abdominal pain, wind, cramps and spasm associated with IBS.   Mintec capsules are specially coated so that they pass through the stomach and the first part of the bowel intact. This delays the release of the peppermint oil until the capsule reaches the part of the bowel that is causing the symptoms. Mintec acts directly to relax the muscle of the bowel, which relieves the abdominal pain, bloating and wind. Mintec is available without a prescription in cartons of 20 and 60 enteric-coated capsules. Each capsule contains 0.2 mL of pure peppermint oil. Warnings: Not recommended for children or for use in pregnancy unless on the advice of a doctor. If symptoms persist seek medical advice. Do not break or chew the capsules.
